Ex-NBA Greats Reaction to Lebron’s “Decision”

Earlier last week, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson reacted to Lebron James joining the Miami Heat by stating which players they wouldn’t have teamed up with. For those of you who are confused, here is the definitive list of who would have teamed up with who.

Michael Jordan: Wouldn’t have teamed up with Larry Bird or Magic Johnson because he was “trying to beat those guys.”   He would’ve teamed up with Hakeem Olajuwan, David Robinson or Dominique Wilkens because those guys he wasn’t trying to beat as bad. If he could have done it all over again, he would have kicked Scottie Pippen off the team to see if he could have won the sixth title without him.

Magic Johnson: Wouldn’t have teamed up with Larry Bird or Micahel Jordan, also wouldn’t have teamed up with Isiah Thomas unless Isiah agreed to play with one hand tied behind his back. If Kareem had left and then tried to come back, he wouldn’t have teamed up with Kareem.

Larry Bird: Wouldn’t have teamed up with Michael, Magic, Isiah, Kareem, Worthy or Dominique… not because of competitive reasons, it’s just the Celtics had already reached their maximum of black players for the time.

Isiah Thomas: Would’ve teamed up with anyone as long as they were willing to take a max deal and be injury prone.

Dominique Wilkins: Would’ve teamed up with Jordan, Magic, Larry or Isaiah. Wouldn’t have teamed up with Hakeem because Hakeem’s voice gave him nightmares.

David Robinson: Wouldn’t have teamed up with Magic or Michael, would’ve teamed up with Larry Bird, Isaiah Thomas or Dominique Wilkins. Also wouldn’t have played with Charles Oakley, Luc Longley, Xavier McDaniel or Karl Malone.

John Stockton: Would’ve played with anybody except Dan Majerle. He really hated that guy.

Patrick Ewing: Would’ve teamed up with Michael, Larry or Magic. Wouldn’t have teamed up with Robinson or Hakeem because he had a thing about being the tallest guy on the team.
