Green Bay @ Washington
QB Aaron Rodgers, WR Greg Jennings, TE Jermichael Finley, K Mason Crosby QB Donovan McNabb, TE Chris Cooley, WR Santana Moss
WR Jordy Nelson, RB John Kuhn, RB Chad Simpson, RB Ryan Torain, Frank
Don’t over think this match-up and feel free to go with your big guns. The Packers tough run defense means increased chances for the Washington passing game. But that run defense also means that emerging talent Ryan Torain should stay on the bench this week.
And for the last time, Frank does not play for the Washington Redskins. In fact, Frank does not play in the NFL. Frank is your neighbor from across the street. No matter what Frank has told you, do not write him into your fantasy football lineup.
That’s actually a great rule for fantasy football, no write-ins. If the Web site you’re using can’t find the player you want to start, chances are they’re not in the NFL. Even if they were, it’s not like they were going to have a good game anyways if no one even knew what team they played for.
I know Frank is persuasive when he argues for you to start him, but think about it. Frank watches the games with you over at your house. How could he be in the NFL? It doesn’t make any sense. Frank didn’t play in your flag football league because of his sciatica. If you need more proof, Frank’s stats this year? He’s last in the NFL in rushing, passing, receiving and minutes played. He has zero in each category.
You’re in the same league as Frank. Do you ever wonder why every year he doesn’t draft himself? And then laughs at you when you draft him?
Do yourself a favor and keep Frank on the bench this week. If it were up to me I would release him, but at the very least don’t start him.
