A starting puppy in this year’s Puppy Bowl was arrested early this morning for soliciting a prostitute in a seedy part of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Jack, a Lab mix, was caught by a Dallas Police Department undercover agent around 3 a.m. on Harry Hines Boulevard. He was immediately cited for soliciting a prostitute and drunk and disorderly conduct.
Creator and producer of the Puppy Bowl, Animal Planet, declined to comment.
A representative for Jack’s adoption organization, Island Dog Inc, said they were “shocked and deeply saddened by Jack’s behavior.”
“He’s never like this at home,” the representative said.
Jack was released this afternoon on $1200 bail. No word yet on Jack’s playing status for Sunday.
